Monday was a travel day, from Madrid to Sevilla on the high-speed train. (Look at the map on the "Heading to Spain" page.) It took two and a half hours to zoom through fields and olive groves down to Sevilla. When we arrived, it was very hot, but fortunately our walk from the train station didn't take long.
We had a nice lunch in the afternoon, then walked around just to get an idea of the town. It has beautiful old buildings and very narrow streets. If a driver makes a mistake, it's not easy to fix . . . because you can't turn around. The car in the photo is trying to back up on that tiny street. Look at all those bikes: they are just waiting for someone to rent them. Riding a bike is easier than driving in Sevilla.
I thought you would like to see more of the street artists who are sitting on invisible chairs. One of these guys is in Madrid, and the other is in Sevilla.
(I'm sorry if the photos are out of order below. I don't know how to control them, so you just have to figure it out.)
