We had a long travel day on Wednesday, involving light rail, plane, high-speed train, metro, and lots of walking. I could abbreviate it all as BART, SFO, CDG, RER, TGV, and TER, which makes perfect sense if you know about French transportation systems. We're trying to ease into the timezone, with no strong goal other than enjoying the town by walking around and stopping to see anything interesting that comes up. In the church of St. Jacques, we were pleasantly surprised by an invitation to the organ loft, where the organist gave us a short demo of the 1877 organ.
